INDICATIONS AND USAGE:
Rapid restore muscle ssue atrophied during recovery from a traumac injury. Offset muscle catabolism in paents with a wasng syndrome. Treat certain types of anemia which are non-responsive to first line agents

CONTRA-INDICATIONS:
The use of Nomabol 10＆#8482; is contraindicated in the following: Not indicated for women, children, or the elderly. Paent with diagnosed or suspected male breast carcinoma or carcinoma of the prostate. Paent with diagnosed or suspected female breast carcinoma with hypercalcemia as androgenic agents may increase osteolyc bone resorpon. Women who are pregnant or may become pregnant because of possible masculinisaon of the fetus. Paent with hypercalcemia. Paent with pre exisng cardiac, renal, and/or hepac disease. This product ishepatotoxic and requires hepac monitoring. Disconnue if jaundicing presents.

DRUG INTERACTIONS:
Oral hypoglycaemic agents: may inhibit the metabolism of oral hypoglycaemic agents which may require adjustments of dosage. An coagulants: Paents on ancoagulants should be carefully monitored during anabolic steroid therapy as anabolic steroids may increase sensivity to oral ancoagulants. Paents should be monitored regularly during anabolic steroid therapy, parcularly during iniaon and terminaon of therapy.

SIDE EFFECTS/ADVERSE REACTIONS: Men:
Prepubertal: phallic enlargement, increased frequency of erecons. Postpubertal: inhibion of tescular funcon, oligospermia, gynecomasa.

Women:
Hirsusm; male paern baldness; deepening of the voice; clitoral enlargement. These changes are usually irreversible even aer prompt disconnue of therapy and are not prevented by concomitant use of estrogens. In addion, the following may occur: menstrual irregularies; masculinisaon of the fetus.

OVERDOSAGE:
Signs and symptoms of over dosage are those associated with the known effects of the drug. See adverse reacons secon. Treatment is symptomac and supporve. Evacuate stomach contents by emesis and , if indicated, lavage, taking care to prevent aspiraon. Monitoring of liver funcon is advised

PRECAUTIONS:
Elevated liver enzymes and in extreme cases hepac liver dysfuncon may occur. 17 alpha alkylated androgens may cause cholestac tepas and jaundice, parcularly with larger dosages or prolonged treatment. Liver funcon should be monitored for changes including serum bilirubin. aspartate aminotransferase (AST), alanine aminotransferase(ALT)and alkaline phosphase(AP).

Edema may be increased in paents on concurrent adrenal corcal ateroid or ACTH therapy. Anabolic steroid hormones may increase low density lipoprothins (LDL) and decrease high density lipoproteins(HDL). Lipids levels generally return to normal upon disconnuaon of treatment.

DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION:
Nomabol 10 therapy is adjuncve to and not a replacement for convenonal therapy. During of therapy will depend on the response of the condion and the appearance of adverse reacons. Therapy should be intermient and no longer than necessary for opmal results. The usual inial adult dosage is 5 mg daily. For maintenance 2.5 to 5 mg daily is usually sufficient. Intermient therapy when Nomabol 10＆#8482; is administered over long periods. Adult males: 25-50mg taken orally per day in divided doses for a duraon of 3 to 6 weeks.
