Nomatropin is a sterile, lyophilized powder intended for subcutaneous administration after reconstitution with bacteriostatic water for injection. The reconstituted product is nearly isotonic at a concentration of 4 mg/ml (10IU) growth hormone (rhGH) and has a pH of approximately 2.96. Each vial contains 4 mg (approximately 10 international units) of Nomatropin patented growth hormone formula, lyophilized with 45mg mannitol, 7.5mg sodium phosphates (0.9mg sodium phosphate monobasic and 6.6mg sodium phosphate dibasic), and 5mg glycine.

Nomatropin is indicated for the treatment of growth failure due to the lack of adequate endogenous GH secretion, growth failure associated with chronic renal insufficiency up to the time of renal transplantation, short stature associated with turner syndrome, and endogenous GH in patients with adult GH deficiency. Nomatropin is also indicated for those who are in severe catabolic states such as surgery, trauma, burns, organ failure or cancer to promote protein synthesis. Nomatropin is further indicated for the treatment of the congestive heart failure and osteoporosis, it increases and promotes sleep and in particular R.E.M. deep sleep, it decreases body fat and cellulite and improve skin texture and appearance by decreasing wrinkles.
